Lots of cleaning today to prepare for a party tomorrow, it being New Year’s Eve and all. Oh, and also watched some movies with the family. As a result, no flash comic today. Instead, here’s a PV starring Aya based on the game Shoot the Bullet. Enjoy!
Yeah, it’s still snowing. I’m beginning to wonder if maybe Letty or Cirno actually ARE involved. I can come up with no other logical explanation.
Pokemon is probably the most famous example. What the heck, Team Rocket?! Not that I don’t enjoy games like that, just that I can’t see villains using them when they’re so much more powerful on their own, or at thevery least they wouldn’t play by the rules.
Also, there’s still snow here. STILL! And it’s supposed to snow again tomorrow! I don’t understand how this is possible!
The best gifts probably are ones like peace on Earth and people not complaining about gifts they didn’t get, but I’m willing to settle for manga video games. Also, the snow STILL hasn’t completely melted. Maybe it really is magic unmelting snow…
Yeah, there’s still snow here. I have no idea how it hasn’t all melted already but there’s still a whole bunch in some places. It’s a little weird since most of outside is grassy or dirt and then you suddenly have huge snowbanks in some spots. I went over to my grandparents today and their driveway was covered in ice. ICE! I’ve ben terrified of ice on the ground ever since that one time I slipped and fell in high school. Apparently I knocked myself out cold (no pun intended). What was I talking about? Oh yeah, there’ll probably still be snow in the morning too. It’s shocking!
Today was Christmas and our family came over to our house this year which meant a LOT of preparation and a fair bit of clean up too. As a result, no flash today. I’ll start back up on them tomorrow.
So, instead, here’s one of my favorite touhou PVs! It’s not new by any means, but I love it and as far as I’m concerned it will never get old. So, enjoy! And Merry Christmas (or at least what’s left of it anyway)!
And as promised, today’s flash has story! I was going to make a flash about making a blog, but something amazing happened to make me change my mind. It snowed. It’s kind of a big deal since this is Texas. AND since it’s almost Christmas. What do you know, white Christmases exist even in Texas! Well, a flash about snow is probably more appropriate for the winter season anyway. And there you have it.
Well, I’ve been busy for most of today working on Christmas decorations and my sister’s Christmas present, so here are some quick character sketches I did yesterday in flash. Tomorrow’s flash should have an actual story. Probably.
EDIT: Fixed now that I’ve finally figured out how the new coding in Flash works. Well, kind of. Anyway, the original version can be seen here. Anyway, this is just a test of working with flash-based comics. It’s random, I know, and I’ll come up with more witty comics in the future (hopefully with better art as well), but this was sort of a proof of concept thing for me to figure out how to work this. Should be much easier to deal with in the future now.
So I discovered today that it’s been far too long since I’ve tried to mess with actionscript in Flash. It’s completely changed and I don’t know how to make buttons work properly anymore. As a result the buttons in this flash don’t work. Or anything else for that matter… So enjoy this spaz attack instead! I could’ve just extended the number of frames and made each panel play for longer, but I didn’t. Why? Because the spazziness made me laugh. Also haven’t figured out how to embed flash yet so there’s only a link here now. I’ll edit this post once I figure it out. Fixed.
